Sandra shares her experiences (with her late husband, Jerald) during the years of infamous forger and murder, Mark Hofmann. She sheds more light on the circumstances covered by the documentary, “Murder Among the Mormons,” telling of the Tanners’ central role in the drama that unfolded.

Part 1

Sandra speaks about what she knew of Mark Hofmann’s early years and formative motivations, parallels between him and Joseph Smith, clues that led to the Tanners’ growing doubts of his authenticity, and LDS leadership anxieties that helped create the environment for Hofmann’s successes.
